ok ok!! i get it! your baby starts preparing you from the womb already for life on the outside. Guess J, B and I are going to have many a bonding session between 3:30 and 5am!!
This morning J woke me up with some seriously hardcore movement! J was wriggling, squirming, kicking, jumping and generally having a party that i wasnt invited to! Awesome to feel such strong movements, but also a tad painful at times, especially when you get kicked in the ribs and your ribs actually creak!
B was awake as well, so i put his hand on my tummy. He just laughed and couldnt believe how strong the movements were! all i could say was “imagine that being in your belly!” hehehehe i guess its something thats actually unimaginable! But we had fun!! by 4:30, B was wide awake and decided that he would go downstairs to do some maths. (he is studying a BSc in applied maths, imagine ridiculously difficult maths, double that…then youll get an idea of what he’s studying!! i cant spell half of what he talks about!!
)
I stayed in bed awake and just let my mind wander! its amazing what you think of at that time in the morning! i was remembering all sorts of things and planning what to do once J arrives and how to try and handle certain situations. i guess most of my planning wont bear fruit, but thats ok! sometimes its just nice to think about some things!!
I have found that my early morning wake up sessions have given me a lot of time to talk to God… its actually when i get the bulk of my praying done… your mind is clear to think about everyone who needs prayer and about everything you have to thank God for and to ask forgiveness on! So being woken up at that time of the morning is actually a blessing!
Luckily B came back to bed at 6, and we both fell fast asleep again!! that was great! best sleep ive had in ages!!
This pregnancy has been such a blessing! we have had a pretty tough year, emotionally, financially, spiritually and pretty much in all areas! But God has been faithful and He has provided! I still cant get over the extent to which He has provided for us! The babyshower and the gifts and the meals and the friendships and…the list goes on and on!! We have never run on empty in any way! He has blessed far beyond anything either of us could ever have imagined! God has showed his love through so many things! i am so thankful and grateful to be called His child!!
(J is busy moving around as I type…i love it!!) i’m going to miss not having J in my tummy. but its going to be awesome having J in our lives on the outside!
ok so onto some pics!! ive got quite a collection so bear with me…
