39 weeks and 3 days!!!
I went for a CTG ( a feotal monitoring session) today and asked that they check my BP as it had been high before and id had a headache all day. my bp WAS 120/91!!! then we did another 1 and i think because i was nervous, it shot even higher to 125/95!! oops! so, my gynae started talking induction!
Now B wasnt with me as hes trying to get all his work done by tomorrow so that we can have the whole of the next 2 weeks to ourselves…(and J). We had also been running around all morning, so he needed some time to sit and work.
i lie there and start panicking! a little CTG is starting to look like more, and im all alone! my gynae then came and did an internal! (YUK!!! i hate those)
but the news was good! she said that my cervix was thinning nicely and that i was already almost 100% effaced!! 
she reckons that J will be here within a week!
she still said that if i wanted to i could be induced tonight… i was tempted, but felt that if i was induced id miss out on something and didnt want that! (i want to feel it!) so she said that its fine, i must just up my BP pills to 4 a day!! 
but that my BP isnt too high to warrant an induction!
sooooo… it could be anyday now!! woohoo! and i feel heaps better waiting for it to happen!!! God knows the perfect day and time and I dont want to interfere with His plans!
But it is awesome to know that everything is happening as it should and that 1 day soon, little J will be here!!
