3 weeks old!!
Jessie was 3 weeks old yesterday!! She has been here for 22 days!! amazing! she is doing absolutely wonderfully! At our weigh-in, Jessie weighed 4.675kgs, and is now just over 56cm tall. She gained 315grams in a week! (guess that makes me a grade A cow…) 
She has begun to track objects and faces really well! even the sister at the hospital was impressed with Jessie’s tracking ability. She is also gaining amazing head control and can support her own head for quite some time! shes developing in leaps and bounds!
BUT onto the BIG news!! Jessie smiled at me yesterday!! yup, thats right, she smiled! i had fed her about 90mins before and she’d been winded well. i was changing her nappy and chatting away to her, and the she did it! Not once, but twice… i had to see if i could get her to do it again, and she did! i immediately called B at work to tell him! it was too cute! (hopefully one day soon ill catch it on camera!) but for now, im just going to love the memory until she does it again!
Everytime i look at her, i cant help but think of what an absolute blessing she is! God had blessed us immeasurably with her. and He has blessed me with an absolutely stunning husband! B has been wonderful! when Jessie needs to feed, B takes over dinner and brings it to me if Jessie is still busy. he looks after the 2 of us, in ways that i never imagined!!
Aint life grand?!?
