4 months on…
Description
Jessie is 4 months old! *yikes* life is moving so fast! There’s something about having a baby and watching them grow that seems to make life pass by really quickly. Its so amazing how they change and do new things almost everyday.
Jessie is now trying to roll onto her tummy… so much for hating it 
she has succeeded twice! its so cute to watch her gathering momentum to try and roll! 
She is getting so strong.. when on her tummy she will lift her bum to creep forward. she reminds of a caterpillar when she does it. (i could ramble on for hours about how gorgeous she is, but you all already know that she’s the most beautiful baby ever! )
She is still talking lots and is constantly making new sounds… we really are in trouble when she starts talking… she aint gonna stop! hehehe. Its so funny when we are at my mom’s house for dinner. she “sits” at the table with us and will talk and talk, if she is ignored she will get really loud and then when she is spoken to she will talk back. she even waits for you to talk to her before going on with the “conversation”.
Jessie is grabbing at everything, my cup, mug, plate, table cloth, hair, toys, granny’s glasses, keys etc. I have to be really careful if im drinking from a glass when shes on my lap, last night she nearly knocked my glass out of my hand. She loves to play! its so funny to watch her. she has also discovered peek-a-boo and loves to play! well, either Bryan or i will hide and will re-appear… much to her amusement!
We’re not laughing yet, but do our own little laugh. im really waiting for the day that she lets forth a giggle! it sounds beautiful!!!
Jessie now weighs 7.2kg’s and is 68cm long. her 3-6month clothes almost dont fit as she is so long! people keep asking me if she is 6 months old, and i always have to say no, she’s 4 months. invariably i get the same type of comment, “she’s so big”. yup apparently she is. but she is an absolute star! Not sleeping through, but is asleep at 9pm and will make up at 2:30 then 5:30 for feeds. so sleep is still not an issue. she also generally has a 2 hour sleep every afternoon… and i have come to enjoy my afternoon nap!
Bryan and i celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary! Our wedding day still remains the best day of my life. B, you are amazing! We have had quite an eventful 2 years and i look forward to the next 80!
Bryan is writing exams at the moment so he has been home a lot! its been great! i love having him at home! tea and coffee together, lunch together… is all so awesome! i’m going to be quite sad when he goes back to work next week!
