Jessie is officially 5 months old and getting more gorgeous by the day! We had our monthly weigh-in this morning and she is now 7.8kgs and 69cm long. She is growing beautifully on breastmilk.
Yup, thats right! Jessie is still only on breast milk. No solids, no bottles, nothing but the breast! and Im loving it. Breastfeeding is such a wonderful experience, it creates an amazing bond and is just all round awesome. it blows me away that women are able to produce such a nourishing milk! WOW!!
Jessie is rolling around, but only to the left! she can roll from back to tummy and back to her back again. She can also do 2 rolls to get to an object. It so cute… its just made nappy changing a tad interesting. I change her on the bed, and now she rolls off her nappy. hehehehe. 
She is really discovering her voice. She squeals and chuckles and makes all sorts of noises. The laughing is comming on! YAY!!! Its such an awesome sound! I recorded it the other day and have listened to it about 57 times. (ok thats a guess! 
)
Being a mom is great, but also hard work at times! Missing an afternoon nap can really take it out of you!! I have come to LOVE my afternoon nap with jessie. We cuddle together and then sleep for about an hour!! Im am so incredibly blessed to be a stay at home mom.
Jessie is just gorgeous and amazing!!
