Jessie update… life update… and everything in between.
Description
Jessie is 10 months old! ok well 10 months and 3 days at the time of writing. It has flown by. Every time i get used to her routine or her little milestones, it all changes again! Life is pretty unpredictable, which has been an interesting adaptation for me, but its been heaps of fun and well worth it! 
Jessie is able to crawl absolutely everywhere, and she’s fast! People have asked me how much exercise i do, when i reply “none” they ask what my secret is. I smile and point at J! She is super busy, and loving every aspect of her life’s adventure. She has discovered that if she fake laughs or coughs, everyone laughs with her, so she pulls that one pretty often. She has also learnt that if I’m at my laptop and she wants attention, she just has to start climbing the stairs, and mommy jumps and runs! 
I’m not sure if ive posted about this already, but here we go. Jessie can eat!! I’m sure that anyday now she will outeat my brothers! in fact, if we took food mass, relative to size, i reckon J would win by miles! She has a big bowl of cereal for breakfast, then she has a full jar of stage 4 Purity for lunch plus she’ll eat some of what i eat, then its another stage 4 jar for supper plus more to snack on! Bryan and i are often blown away by her ability to eat. She’s not fat, or even remotely overweight, i reckon its all the stairclimbing that keeps her trim! but sjoe… its something to see! oh oh oh! I made stew the other night and she ate it! she absolutely loved it! she ate1.5 bowls the first and second night she had it! i was so proud of myself! she ate it with such gusto!! wow, i really felt id accomplished something as a mom heres hoping she always likes my cooking!
Jessie can stand and can say 2 words. she has tried to walk a couple of times, but every time she takes that first step, she falls over! so i guess, we still got a little bit of time before she’s toddlin’ along! As for the words! im sad to say, her first word seems to have been “kitty”. its not exactly pronounced with the double t, but its clearly “kitty”. any dog, cat, and sometimes even a person, is called “khiyy”. its too cute! Next seems to be “momma” ! i used to be the only one called “momma”, but now it seems to be extending to Bryan as well! its pretty awesome when she looks at me and says “momma”!
She still doesnt have a single tooth. Im sure she’s teething, but then again ive said it before and have been wrong! so im not going out on a limb here but im pretty sure she’ll have teeth one day soon. or not!
J has been sick this week. On Tuesday she started with a really high temp, 38.5C. then after a suppository, it came down but i had to give her another one that night. On Wednesday when she woke up her temp was 39!! So i called the doctor and they had an appointment open then. The Doc reckons that its baby measles/Roseola. He thought it was because she had a high temp but no other symptoms. so we’re waiting to see if any spots appear. Apparently if she gets spots, they should arrive sometime between today and Sunday, and then clear up within 2 days.
B has been working from home lately and its awesome. means that occasionally, i can hand J over and actually get through my lunch without her eating half of it . B has also been working from 6am, so he finishes by 4pm. Its made a HUGE difference! J really responds so well to him now. Its very cute to listen and watch them together! With R on the way, J is going to have to get used to spending time with dad, as R is going to take up quite a lot of my time.
This is the longest post ive written in ages!! theres so much more to say, but ill save that for another post!
