another long overdue update…

yikes, ive really been neglecting my blog. i dont know how some moms actually keep up their blogs. whenever i sit at my pc, jessie just wants in on the action! and then by the time she goes to bed at night, i just dont have the energy to blog… hence, my lack of regular blogging.
I’ll start with my own update for a change! 
i am now 34.5 weeks pregnant! i cant believe that in less than 40 days, ill be a mom to 2! I have days where im very nervous and scared of managing with a toddler and a baby, but i know that we will adjust and in the long run it will all be ok.I guess, i’ll sprout an extra pair of hands or something! 
Im starting to “nest”. i want to get things organised and sorted and put in their correct place. But all that is slightly impossible with a 14 month old who loves to unpack and repack! so.. im having to relax on that side. its just not going to stay packed away!
Im definitely carrying R all in my tummy. My tummy is getting bigger and rounder by the day! with jessie i carried more in my hips and bum! so i have a whole new set of mommy badges (stretch marks) ! but its all part and parcel of having babies… and therefore i shall wear them with pride… (yes babe, i know ive moaned about them, but im allowed to!) Im still fairly comfortable. I had a very uncomfortable day on tuesday, when i actually thought that R was going to arrive very soon. But its all settled again!
At my scan 10 days ago, R weighed in at 2.6kgs. i have another scan in a weeks time, and we should be able to get a birth estimate then. R is definitely more lazy than J, but moves very differently. J kicked where as R tends to push, stretch and roll. sometimes i think that im actually going to able to grab his/her foot, as it pushes out so far! 
R was still breech, but am hoping and praying that R is now vertex. i dont want a c-section!!!!!!!
Jessie is more gorgeous than ever! yes, it is possible although im not sure how. She loves to unpack things and then out them away. she is getting very vocal and knows what she wants, when she wants it. Its nice now as she is able to communicate her wants by pointing and trying to say the word. all this is generally in connection with food. boy, can she pack it away! i dont know where and how, but somehow she just eats and eats and eats. but then again, i much prefer the eating to the not-eating.
she is so loving and cute with small babies. she just wants to hold them and give them “loves”. it really puts my mind at ease knowing that she likes babies. Im sure its still going to be hard for her as she wont have my attention 100% of the time, but she’ll be fine. She is very good at playing by herself these days. She can draw or do puzzles on her own for ages on end and will include us when she wants to.
heres my big brag: Jessie is sleeping through!!!!!!! for about a week now, she has been having her last feed at 8:30 and then sleeping until 7:15 in the morning!!!! its been amazing to have so much sleep! (last night was terrible though, she tossed and turned until 2am! but was asleep the entire time) yup, she’s still in bed with us, but we are going to get another matress and make a wall-to-wall bed. Jessie will go onto the new matress, and when she’s 2, we’ll put her into her own bed. i dont want to make too many changes now, so will see how everything goes.
i just had a small babyshower with my moms&babes group. i didnt suspect a thing! it was actually stunning! i was very surprized and felt a tad silly but oh so special at the same time.
this post is all over the show, and badly written. but J is sleeping and so im trying to get it all out now. so im going to end it here.
