40 weeks 5 days!

yup we’re still waiting! this little one really seems to be taking their time. The doc has given me until Monday night before she’ll induce. So im really praying that something will happen before then. But R seems pretty comfy in there.

For the first time, i feel like a hippo!!! my skin is soooooo tight on my tummy, i wouldnt be surprised if it split. im actually starting to have trouble getting up on my own, and swinging my legs over things is a thing of the past. Ive been running and stomping with J to try and get R moving. but as yet, nada. ive done the piping hot bath, relaxed and all that… and still nothing. R seems to really enjoy being in my tummy!

Maybe its the thought of joining this mad-cap family on the outside thats scary.  lets face it, who wouldnt be nervous of having a sister who laughs like a crazy person, eats more than any teenage boy, is constantly on the go, copies her loony mother and is just too much fun? sheesh… id also try and get as much rest as possible!

On a jessie note. She has cut 2 more teeth!! we are now up to 6 in total with 2 molars on the way!! woohoo!!! finally she is getting teeth! its a horrid process, with disturbed sleep, crying, pain (all round) and much panado… but hey, its not all bad. she actually handles it pretty well. these days, im just not used to her waking up, so when she does, i feel sleep deprived. how am i going to manage the 2 hourly feedings again? i guess, i just will. i have to.

B and i celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary last week! in some ways (all good) it feels as though we have been together much longer. i struggle to remember life without him… and dont really want to! (mmmmmwwwwa, i love you babe) He really is my other half!

other than that… not much news to report… we are just ALL waiting!! a huge thank-you to everyone for the messages and calls! you all make me feel so special and cared for!!

so please pray that R comes naturally before Monday, and that everything goes smoothly.
