My giggle for the day
Description
Jessie loves to role play. Her role-playing currently involves the characters from Nemo. She is Nemo, Jack is Bruce, B is Marlin and I am Dory. She switches between Jessie and Nemo without missing a beat. This means that we have to be on our toes, and very sharp.
Today I climbed onto the kitchen counter to look for something in the top cupboard ( yes, yes, i know i shouldnt do it but i was desperate!) Jessie comes into the kitchen, looks up at me and says, :what are you doing?”
“Im standing on the counter.”, I reply. “why?” she asks
“because i need to find the nail file.” (i really needed it)
“so youre standing on the counter!” she says, looking up at me with big eyes. I didnt have a chance to respond, as this is what she said: “You think you can do these, but you just cant Dory!” I giggled so hard that i just about fell off of the counter. It was classic!
She just quoted it perfectly, in the right tone, and managed to apply it to a real life scenario. Im amazed. Ive always said that she’s bright, but she still amazes me. such a monkey.
