Today is Jessie’s 3rd birthday. Its hard to believe that this time 3 years ago, i was stressing about feeding and about how to care for my newborn baby girl. In fact, i think i was still trying to get over the fact that she was a girl. 3 years have flown by so quickly, and im very proud of the little girl that she is!

We had a great party at Gordon’s Gymnastics. In fact i think that all the dad’s and uncle’s had as good a time as the kids, if not better. Even Brent who has a phobia of foam was getting stuck in the foam pit.  The “older” kids (dads and uncles) had a blast flying through the air from all sorts of gym apparatus and landing in the pit.

Jessie was rosy-cheeked and sweating before the guests even arrived. The kids jumped on the jumping castle, the trampoline and in and out of the foam pit. the played musical statues, musical foam and watched a very cool rope jumping demo.

I baked Jessie’s puppy cake and b did an amazing job with the finer decorating detail. Im so thankful and grateful that B is such an amazing, involved dad. i probably would’ve made a shocking looking puppy. B made it beautifully!

i only had to take care of the kids food and party stuff. my mom took care of the adults and all their needs. Im so glad that i didnt have to worry about everything, im starting to get very porridge brained  (i left the candles for j’s cake at home!) and would probably have forgotten a whole heap of stuff! Thanks mom!

Jessie had an amazing day, and thoroughly enjoyed herself! it was a very small party, but to her that didnt matter.
