2 weeks on internet-lessness

I’m going to do my head in! We have been in our new house for 2 weeks, and we still have no internet!!! This is getting ridiculous.
When I called Telkom to install a new line at our new house, we had it within a week. We ordered our ADSL though Webafrica, who go through Telkom, and its been 2 weeks of silence.
I called Telkom on Monday and was told to chat directly to Webafrica, which I did. The lady on the other side of the phone said that they had heard nothing from Telkom but were expecting a “positive response soon”. She said we should have our line by the end of the week.
Well, its the start of a new week and nada! No line, no communication, no “positive response”. B mailed them and they said the usual “your call has been escalated” story. Its getting very frustrating.
Oh well, let’s hope we get our ADSL this week so that I can be up and running again.
