Gush when its hard

Description

While life with kids is always wonderful and full of love, its not always easy. Some days are just down-right hard. Some days it feels like everything is a fight. Some days, I wonder who the parent is in certain situations. Some days… I find it hard to to not say, “fine, do whatever you want!”

But then I remember that I’m the parent. If I don’t teach them right from wrong, manners, patience, acceptable behaviour… They will never learn! ( Or at least it will take them a long time to learn, and they’ll make bad friends along the way) God has given me these little miracles, they’re ours to grow and shape, to show them the way that they should go.

Complaining and moaning just seems to make it worse, it seems to add more fuel to the fire, and if we’re not careful – that fire will consume us. Therefore, I strive to continue to gush! To try and cut-out the bad from a day and hold onto the happy, warm-fuzzies. I remember what makes each of them super special and super cute. Then suddenly, the “bad” day becomes a good day

Parenting (as I’ve said before) is hard. We don’t need to make it harder by holding onto the bad-stuff. Kids will be kids, there will be ups and downs… But everyday will be beautiful. Everyday will be perfect.

Gush when its hard, and you’ll find that things get a little easier!
