Today Kyla is 6months old! As of tomorrow, she will be closer to 1 than to newborn. These 6 months have flown by.

She is such a beautiful baby. She is our ginger ninja In the light, her hair and eye lashes are very ginger. Where ever we go people remark on the length and colour of her hair. Even her new hair underneath is strawberry blonde, or more carrot blonde she still has dark blue eyes, and is very fair skinned (B occasionally says she looks Irish).

She is such a happy, content, active princess. She loves to crawl and sticks everything she can in her mouth. I have to be very quick to pick up the big sprogs mess, otherwise I land up trying to wrestle it from her, or out of her mouth.

She is feisty, WOW! She is not shy to let you know when is cross, or that she wants something else (most often what has been taken away). When she starts getting tired or frustrated, before she cries, out comes the bottom lip and she blows rasberries. Its so cute its ridiculous!

She can sit for short periods of time, but she is far more interested in crawling and exploring. She stares at the big sprogs all the time, and I think she’s trying to figure out how to play with them. Since she has become mobile, the big sprogs almost expect her to be/play like them. They have become quite a bit more rough with her. It stresses me out a bit, as Jack has jumped on her once. So now where ever I go in the house, she goes. Actually, where ever I go, she goes! (So do my big sprogs)

Kyla LOVES to swim! She loves being in the pool and doesn’t mind being splashed. When I think its too cold for her, she watches Jessie and Jack almost longingly. When she’s in the pool, she splashes her arms a bit, but otherwise just relaxes with me. She smiles endlessly in the pool.

Like our other sprogs, she is also a late laugher. She smiles and laughs a little, but no belly laughs yet. She is also not a big talker, but if in the mood, she can chat for a while. When you say her name, she turns to you and will often crawl in your direction.

She is a huge blessing! I love her so much ( I love all my sprogs equally, this post is about Kyla)!!!
