Rolling tight
Description
We roll pretty tight. The 5 of us are just about always together. We don’t separate easily and we love hanging out together!
In fact since having kids, B and I have not been out alone. Yup that’s 3.5 years of going everywhere together. Other people don’t “get” how we do it. “You need a break” is a very popular line. Why? Why do we need a break? We wanted to have kids, we love them, so why should we leave them for a weekend?!
I’m sure that, one day, we will get granny or one of their uncles to look after them so that we can go to a movie ( I hear there’s places with HUGE screens, where one can watch a DVD) or something. But that time will come at the right time.
In fact, when we have dinner at granny’s house, we do get a break. The kids are entertained by granny, their uncles and their girlfriends. I get a chance to just sit and chill with Kyla, or to chat with the family. I’m sure that having our family close by and close to the kids helps huge! The kids love them, and they love the kids! My girls not only have awesome protection from B, they also have 2 big bodyguards in the form of their 6’6″ and 6’4″ uncles.
In fact, even with the extended family we roll tight. We see each other at least 3 times a week, we support each other at events (no matter how crazy!), we all chat everyday! I think that’s the way its supposed to be!
